“A child is not a small adult” is an oft repeated truth in pediatric textbooks. Pediatric anesthesia is no different. Everything from physiology, pathology, psychology is different in the younger age group and it manifests itself in the setting of the operating room and outside the operating room. Anesthesiologists are expected to perform pediatric cases from time to time and this module is tailor made to both freshers and seasoned consultants who need to refresh their knowledge and be up-to-date on best practices.
