Description
A lung transplant is surgical procedure to replace a diseased lung with a healthy one, usually from a deceased donor. The practice of lung transplantation has expanded and evolved significantly. Management of acute postoperative pain the lung transplant recipient can be challenging, yet a balanced approach of optimization cardiopulmonary function while minimizing side effects can achieve a positive impact on outcomes.
