Airway endoscopy involves introduction of an instrument into the air passage of a patient while breathing simultaneously or under controlled ventilation. It plays significant role in the biopsy of tumors within the airways, mediastinum and lung parenchyma. It has been developed to treat benign and malignant airway stenosis and tracheomalacia. This video explains about the anatomical vision, orientation, assessment of airway and identification of angles and direction.
