Airway blocks

Description

Nerve blocks can provide anesthesia for awake intubation but can be technically more challenging to perform than topical anesthesia of the airway. They do carry a higher risk of complications, such as intravascular injection and nerve damage, and more than one nerve needs to be blocked.This presentation deals various airway blocks needed for awake intubation.
