Pain relief in labour has always been surrounded with myths and controversies. Hence, providing effective and safe analgesia during labour has remained an ongoing challenge for Anesthesiologist. The most important contribution of recent obstetric anaesthesia research to clinical practice has been the demonstration that early neuraxial labour analgesia does not negatively affect the mode of delivery and, obviously, improves maternal satisfaction.This presentation deals with all aspects of labour analgesia practices in an unorganised sector
